What is an Employee Assistance Program?
Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and Member Assistance Programs (MAPs), offered by LECSA, are confidential, no-cost services sponsored by employers and labor unions to support the well-being of employees, union members, and their families. These programs provide 24/7 access to short-term counseling, crisis support, referrals, and follow-up care for a wide range of personal and work-related issues, including mental health, substance abuse, family concerns, and financial stress. Participation is voluntary and does not affect job status, reflecting a commitment to helping individuals manage life’s challenges with dignity and support.
